STEP ONE: EXPLORING OUR RANGE OF ELCAS APPROVED COURSES
The first step when selecting a qualification in order to utilise your ELC, is ensure you’ve completely explored your options. IoSCM offer a range of ELCAS approved qualifications, across a variety of levels and industries, allowing you to select the qualification which best suits your needs.
You may be interested in a general management course, or feel that your skills are best suited to a role within manufacturing. We offer courses specialising in everything from logistics to supply chain management, purchasing to import and export. STEP TWO: CONTACTING OUR TEAM

STEP THREE: FINDING WHICH COURSE IS RIGHT FOR YOU
Our Course Advisors are trained and experienced in ensuring you select the best suited qualification for your learning aims. The team will ask you for information on your current experience, your duration of service in the Forces, what specialist skills and knowledge you’ve gained, along with your future aims and goals.
Not only will your Course Advisor recommend the best level of study, and units suited to your training requirements, but also ensure that we’re looking at the best fit of study method, timescale and assessment method. We encourage that you ask as many questions as possible and provide us with as much information as possible to ensure you are making the right decision.
STEP FOUR: APPLYING FOR A COURSE USING YOUR ELC
Once you have made the decision on which qualification you are enrolling to, you will be required to submit your claim online. To do this, log into ELC Member’s Area (your logins and password can be requested from your authorising MOD representative). Your claim must be submitted at least 25 days prior to your intended start date for the course – remember, with IoSCM we do not have set start dates, meaning you can being your studies at any time throughout the year.
You must also note the end date for your course – the below timescales must be correct on your claim:

With IoSCM you have the flexibility to complete your course at a pace to suit you, however for your original claim the timescales of the course must match those provided by the Institute.
Upon receipt of our Claim Authorisation Note (CAN) you must send this across to your Course Advisor, who will keep this safe until required.
STEP FIVE: ENROLMENT WITH IOSCM
Following receipt of your CAN, your Course Advisor will send you the relevant forms to complete your official enrolment with IoSCM. This will enable us to register you as a student, set up your part payment invoice and confirm mailing details for certification/materials if required.
STAGE SIX: BEGINNING YOUR COURSE
After enrolment, you will be ready to begin your studies. You can be provided with access to the IoSCM Learning Platform where you’ll find all required study material and resources which have been collated by experts in the Supply Chain industry.
Your Course Advisor will now pass your account into the capable hands of our Student Support team, who will provide you with an induction to the course – you’re now a registered IoSCM Student!
